Prof Bronwyn King AO is a radiation oncologist by background, and worked in public health since 2010, first in tobacco control and more recently in air quality, with the Burnet Institute. She is founder and CEO of global NGO Tobacco Free Portfolios.
Bronwyn’s TEDx Sydney talk has been viewed over 3 million times. Bronwyn is a former elite swimmer who represented Australia and for ten years worked as Team Doctor for the Australian Swimming Team. She has served on a number of boards as a non-executive director and is currently Chair of Medical Indemnity Protection Society. In 2019 Bronwyn was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia and named by the City of Melbourne as ‘Melburnian of the Year’.
