Frans van Belle brings a wealth of experience to the Nicolab team. With a 40-year career spanning the telecommunication and technology industry, Frans has consistently demonstrated an outstanding commitment to driving innovation and building strong relationships. Frans has held several management positions within Philips and laid the foundation for KPN in London. His entrepreneurial debut in 1992 flourished and was later acquired by MCI WorldCom in 1997. Frans remained at MCI WorldCom as European Vice President wholesale until 2001, achieving a revenue of 1,3 USD billion.
Frans holds advisory positions in private equity, notably with Holland Capital, and started the Exchange Company investing in companies specializing in e-learning, industrial software, and radiology software in the medical industry. His most recent initiatives include Presurgeo, a med-tech company that offers 3D software solutions for orthopedic surgery, as well as an investment in Photon Ventures, a venture fund focusing on the latest chip technology. Frans’ unique insights and industry knowledge will be invaluable as Nicolab continues to strengthen its position as a market leader.
